artnet is seeking a full-time gallery liaison to join the Gallery Network team in either our New York, London, or Berlin office. In this role, you will be responsible for forming client relationships through maintaining gallery member sites hosted on our network and attending openings, art fairs, and other art world events, connecting with clients daily to keep them engaged and ensure success on our platform. The gallery liaison team reports directly to the manager of the Gallery Network.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain 80–100 gallery member sites
  • Form relationships with clients to better serve their experience with the product and help grow their business online
  • Track all significant client contact on a daily basis in order to retain existing clients and refer opportunities for and new and existing clients
  • Provide technical support for all clients and report any bugs to the Development team
  • Collaborate with Sales on coordinating advertising campaigns, with Finance on billing, and with Collections on past due invoices
  • Edit the artist database by adding or updating artist information
  • Edit images and assist designing client advertisements
  • Help improve our product and services by contributing ideas regularly
  • Attend openings, art fairs, and other events when necessary to foster relationships within the community
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Answer questions from clients about all artnet products and services to provide a streamlined customer service experience


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in art history, fine arts, or arts administration
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the art world (preferably a gallery)
  • Proficient knowledge of PC platform, Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), and Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic comprehension of HTML
  • Ability to multi-task and self-motivate with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and take on new responsibilities as needed
  • Professional and pleasant phone and email etiquette
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to identify potential risks and opportunities, and escalate them in a timely manner
  • Fluency in Spanish
