Regional Procurement NCE coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety and environment when developing and implementing the different category strategies while not compromising on Vestas's standards and processes.
Responsibilities
- Regional Stakeholder Management & accountability for all escalations from Regions
- Identify initiatives needed to support the short term and long-term goals of the Region keeping best for Vestas approach and to implement the global commodity strategy and WRC BoM competitiveness within the region
- Safety, quality & capacity assurance of all suppliers´ factories located within the region both for local assembly and for export and global target fulfilment & Commercial Performance Management for all suppliers at regional level
- Supplier Relationship Management of regional suppliers and development of the regional supply base, recommend suppliers to be integrated into global commodity strategy
- Develop and strengthening relationship with suppliers actively participate in the definition of Module and Commodity Strategies, providing regional perspective/market intel
- Sign-off global commodity strategy including supplier segmentation, negotiation strategy and Value Capture Supplier lead innovation, strategies and Production footprint optimization within the region
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree >8 years of work experience
- Documented positive experience in negotiations
- Min 5 years of experience in procurement & leadership
- Fluent in English
